I never thought I would say this, but I love to wear fur. Not so much real fur, mind you, but faux fur. I remember a time in high school when my sister was obsessed with a short black and white striped faux fur bolero jacket to wear over her prom dress. Faux fur wasn’t as popular as it is now, and we all teased her that the jacket was reminiscent of ‘Cruella Deville’. Nevertheless, she wore it again and again, proving us wrong, looking amazing, and leaving us wishing she still had it. Always the trendsetter:)

In recent years, I’ve managed to collect quite a variety of my own faux fur jackets, from long to short, animal print to color block, as seen in this, this, this, and this Gal Meets Glam post. Now a forever fan of these versatile, season staples, I know I can add one to just about any outfit, from a simple sweater and jeans, to a silk maxi dress, for a glamorous and fun element of surprise. I love the idea of wearing this flower power faux fur beauty early this spring over a simple white cotton dress and heeled espadrilles.
