This is one of the best times of the year to shop at Nordstrom…especially if you’re like me and received a gift card or two in your stocking yesterday! Thousands of items are marked down up to 50 percent off for their Half-Yearly Sale, and with the added benefit of free shipping and returns, I always take advantage of this opportunity to start my 2019 wardrobe off on the right foot. Usually, that means refreshing a few of my staple items, like the perfect white tee or athletic shoes for the weekend, as well as picking out something exciting and inspiring, like a beautiful dress or an elegant coat that will make me smile each time I wear it in the new year.
