While it has been a few years since “spring break” was a given on my calendar, I still love taking advantage of this season by scheduling a handful of weekends away. After all, long days and gorgeous weather make exploring a new place even more enjoyable! Spring tends to be a busy season for everyone (it certainly has been for us!), but since few things inspire me more than travel, I always try to make it a priority. We don’t need to go far or spend a long time away—even a few days in a new-to-me destination can be incredibly rejuvenating. I like to pack light for weekend trips, bringing only the essentials and a few pieces that transition seamlessly from day to dinner. Here’s a peek at my packing list for a spring weekend getaway:
An elegant cotton dress like the Judith and Rose, two of my favorite options for spring adventures
A crisp blouse to pair with a classic pair of cropped jeans or a breezy midi skirt, depending on the activities we choose for the day
A lightweight jacket
A silk scarf for tying in my hair or looping around my bag
Espadrille wedges that are comfortable enough to walk around in
A spacious tote bag
A pair of vintage-inspired sunglasses
