If I had to narrow down the most cherished pieces in my closet, many of the items to make my list would be coats. Some that come to mind, I’ve had for years and can’t imagine my winter wardrobe without. Others are newer pieces, but are styles or silhouettes that I admired for a long time before finding the perfect one for me. Much like with dresses, a coat that fits flawlessly and represents a woman’s style perfectly becomes a staple in her wardrobe that she wears year after year. I’ve seen this brought to life in my own closet countless times. It is one of the many reasons I’m thrilled to share our first Gal Meets Glam Collection coats today!

Our design team and I have been waiting for this day for over a year, which is when we first decided to make our dream of adding coats to the Collection a reality. Designing coats has been an exciting change of pace from designing dresses. Not only are we working with a completely different selection of fabrics; it’s also even more crucial that our designs feel timeless, but still special. Especially since these are garments our customers may reach for daily during the cold seasons, we worked hard to create versatile, high-quality pieces that effortlessly combine function and style. All nine of the coats launching today have an undeniably classic feel, but you’ll find that we also brought the same affinity for charming details into them that we do into our dresses each month.
