While Thomas and I were driving home from Napa the weekend before last, we drove by Gott’s Roadside, only to discover a line fewer than 10 people long. Now, the reason it had taken us so long to eat there was because every time we passed it, the line was at least 100 people deep. As someone who doesn’t actually even eat meat, I thought “why wait that long for a veggie burger”. But now I get it. That was one delicious burger, plus the sweet potato fries too (and a lemonade + arnold palmer)! We obviously had to add it to our list of Favorite Napa Restaurants, which we shared over on GMG Now last week.
We spent the afternoon in Calistoga and found ourselves wandering onto the Indian Springs property, which instantly transported us back to Palm Springs. The all white, the pops of orange, the palm trees! It totally has a desert vibe and we’ve added it to our list of places to stay for a future trip. Have any of you stayed there? Did you like it? I love that it seems like a completely different experience than the other hotels we’ve stayed at nearby (Calistoga Ranch and Solage).
I kept things minimal in this simple white on white combo – a white Rag & Bone denim skirt and white Current Elliott tee. Individually, both pieces are great basics to have on hand this spring. I embraced the denim skirt again last year and this white one is seeming to be even a better buy. My two favorite accessories right now are my Cuyana crossbody bag that’s in the most gorgeous shade of camel and my Ferragamo Wedges I bought last summer in Italy (last worn here, here, here and here).
