This weekend marks the official first day of spring! I shared my spring to-do list over on GMG Now last week and plan on knocking a few of those activities off over the next few days. Do you have any plans? The weather in San Francisco has been beautiful since we got home from NYC, so we’re definitely going to try and be outside as much as possible this weekend doing hikes and bike rides and picnics out in the park.
I still can’t get over how gorgeous Santa Barbara was last weekend. The entire property of the hotel we stayed at, San Ysidro Ranch, was like a blooming garden. I can’t even explain how fragrant and amazing it smelled- a combination of lavender, wisteria and roses. They also have an organic chef’s garden on the property that guests can walk through that has everything from fresh herbs, to fruit and lemon and lime trees.
We ordered pancakes for breakfast on the porch of our cottage and sipped bellinis with the vibrant bougainvillea surrounding us. I think we need to recreate something similar at home this weekend, although we don’t have any outdoor space at our place, so we’ll have to cook something up we can take to a park. Anything with a little bit of sunshine is always better!
Nothing feels fresher to me than an all white combination. These white Frame jeans are my most-loved pair along with my Old Navy jeans (last seen here and here). I paired this white Iro top with my denim but a simple white tee or button down would go perfectly to recreate the same look. I also found a few similar white peplum tops under $80 here, here and here. And lastly, these J.Crew floral earrings are the perfect statement to such a minimal look.
