Outfit Details:
Nordstrom Dress (under $50, I’m wearing a size small), Gap Denim Jacket,Ferragamo Wedges (similar here and here), Gucci Bag
Last weekend was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. It’s always a treat to get out to Napa but even more so when it’s with good friends. We had so many laughs, yummy food and rosé while out in the spring sunshine all day. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather. And while the girls had to leave Saturday afternoon, Thomas and I stayed through the rest of the weekend for a low-key Easter.
All of the wildflowers are blooming right now and creating a white, purple and yellow haze as you drive by. One of the wineries we went to told us that the vineyards with mustard growing in between the vines means they grow organic grapes, obviously because there are no pesticides to kill off the weeds. I thought it was a cool little fact to remember while driving out to different wineries.
It was a perfect time to bring out spring pieces like this light pink floral dress from Nordstrom that’s under $50. I’ve seen so many great budget friendly pieces this season including the romper (also under $50) that I wore last week as well as this dress, this dress and this dress. All you need is a denim jacket or a lightweight cardigan and you’re all set for the perfect spring-time weekend look. The girls and I somehow all ended up color coordinating on our first day out in Napa in shades of blue and white. We got lots of questions asking about our dresses, so I posted the links to each here.
In case you missed it, I shared Thomas’s and my favorite wineries around Napa Valley last week and just shared our list of favorite restaurants (for everything from breakfast/brunch, lunch, dinner, coffee, etc.) on GMG today. Keep the requests and ideas coming for what else you would like to see on GMG Now. You can always email [email protected] or leave a comment with your feedback.
