In case you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a little obsessed with hats. Probably because a hat is the one accessory that can really enhance an otherwise simple outfit. The right hat not only compliments fashion – it compliments a woman’s entire image, adding an extra level of sophistication, elegance and fun. And a hat can be the perfect companion for “swimsuit shyness.” The right hat not only protects delicate facial skin from the sun, but can also draw attention to the face and away other self parts of the body that we may be self conscious about.

My favorite hat styles for spring and summer include a boater (this one is at a great price), a wide brim fedora, or a big floppy hat. I tend to stay with neutral tones so that I can wear my hats with just about any outfit.
