One of the most versatile, classic patterns that transcends time is stripes. Women gravitate to this popular print for so many reasons – a structured, sophisticated style, basic look for everyday wear, and flattering silhouette with a preppy twist. I’ve always loved stripes, which is obvious by the plethora of pieces currently residing in my closet! An array of striped tops, skirts, jumpsuits, pants, shorts, shoes (yes shoes!), dresses and even pjs. From wide, thick, bold stripes to fine, thin, delicate lines, in all types of color combinations. My favorites have vertical lines, known for their figure-flattering flare. But I’m also partial to a horizontal stripe, which can be just as flattering when placed on a top or skirt in a thoughtful way. We did this with a dainty lawn stripe lined with tiny ruffle detail on the Courtney dress and with a slub stripe pattern on the Samantha dress to give it a tailored style that feels refined, but also fun!
