Over the years, as I’ve fine-tuned and tweaked my makeup routine, I’ve noticed that using the right tools can make all the difference. Especially when it comes to makeup brushes. The right brush can not only speed up your daily routine, but also create a flawless look. Here are my three go-to brushes that I use on a daily basis: foundation, blush and bronzer.
Foundation Brush: I use this bareMinerals Full Flawless Brush that I pair with my bareMinerals Original Foundation (I wear medium beige). I love this blending brush for applying because it picks up just the right amount of powder and spreads it evenly across my face.
Blush Brush: I use this Ashley Sievert Powder Brush for my blush, it’s perfect for adding that bit of color to the apples of your cheeks. This Marc Jacobs blush in “Reckless” is my absolute favorite shade!
Bronzing Brush: This Bobbi Brown Face Blender Brush is my personal favorite for bronzer. The bristles are longer and it applies product very lightly, which is especially important with bronzer. My favorite bronzer recently has been this Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Set in “Bronze”. It leaves the perfect, subtle sun kissed glow!
Don’t forget to clean your brushes regularly to keep them sanitary and replace them when needed! I use this brush cleaner that’s easy to use and works really well!
