Swimsuits in image order:
The weather has finally been warm enough to pull out swimsuits for the first time this year. I was just in Miami last weekend for my sister’s bachelorette party, and it’s what we spent all day in. This is my first time wearing swimwear with a bump, and while it’s probably easier to fit into a bikini, I opted to size up in some one-pieces, as they’re my favorite swimsuits to wear. I do have my eye on this high waisted one though and am hoping I can make it work for our babymoon to Spain in a few weeks.
Many of the swimsuits I have my eye on are adorned with charming details, like ruffles, bows, and scalloped edges. LoveShackFancy’s line, in particular, fully embraces a feminine aesthetic, using some of the sweetest florals on both their one-pieces and bikinis. I’ve already bought one of their swimsuits for our trip, where I plan to spend time in the pool daily! I’ve always been a fan of Marysia’s pieces, well-known and beloved for their signature scalloped edges. They added some pastel hues and flattering peplum details to their collection this year, and I love the vintage feel of the resulting silhouettes. While I’m usually a one-piece kind of girl, I’m not sure I’ll be able to resist this pink gingham Tori Praver bikini (top and bottoms) to wear with my bump this summer—it reminds me of our Gal Meets Glam Collection Polly dress!
