In our family, stocking gifts are far from an afterthought. On the contrary, we consider them the highlight of our Christmas mornings! Every year, as soon as we’re all cozied up in the living room with coffee, hot chocolate, and fresh cinnamon rolls, we take turns opening one gift from our stockings at a time. The best things certainly come in small packages–we’ve enjoyed finding anything from candy, to mini beauty products, to sparkly accessories, to love notes nestled inside the stockings our grandmother handmade for each of us over the years. Gift giving is my love language, so I tend to go a bit overboard on stocking stuffers, keeping an eye out all year round for items that might delight the recipient on his or her turn to open a gift.
