With summertime comes warmer weather (hopefully), which means it’s time to pull out the shorts. And luckily, this season seems to show no real preference in style. I’m seeing all types of looks – fringed cut-offs, short-shorts, distressed denim, bermuda, tailored, skort, and high-waisted. My personal favorites are rolled denim and white tailored shorts because they go with just about any top and look good on just about anyone. Shorts are great for everyday wear, but don’t forget that a pair of high-waisted lace shorts can look great with a silk top and wedged heels (and even a lightweight blazer) for a more dressy look, be it a family celebration, wedding shower, or night out with friends.  

The price point for a pair of summer shorts can range dramatically, depending on brand and fabric, and the hunt for the perfect pair can be quite overwhelming. So below I’ve put together some options that I hope you’ll find both stylish and a little more budget-friendly.
