The traditional work inspired pantsuit has rarely been on my radar in the past. Finding a flattering, not too stuffy option was always nearly impossible. But this season, I’m seeing so many new pieces that are changing my mind. Fitted cropped jackets with wide-leg pants, loose cut, over-sized or double-breasted blazers with slim-fitting slacks. Monochromatic colors, mixed patterns, ruffled lapels, tweeds, plaids, velvets, florals, wools and mixed blends. I’m re-thinking my wardrobe with all these fresh takes, especially since we’ll be traveling weekly to New York. A pantsuit is perfect for the city and I love how I can mix and match and add my current collection of jackets, blazers, and skirts as well. Or even adding a lace top and strappy heels to take the look from day to night. Sharing some of my favorite pieces below to help inspire you to find your own variations of the traditional pantsuit this season!
