I love how Thanksgiving and fall holidays bring people closer together – families, friends and loved ones, so I’ve been saving sources of inspiration for fall decor to this GMG Fall Decor Pinterest Board (started last year) to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From adding colorful throws and monogrammed pillows, to fragrant candles, glass hurricanes, unique centerpieces, wreaths, garlands, decorative pumpkins, and fresh flowers – comfortable elements that feel familiar. One of my favorite new touches is small framed family photos and photo albums on the dining table and around our family room to spark memories and engaging conversation. For a bit of whimsy, I’ve also placed candy dishes  around gathering areas, including the kitchen, filled with our favorite candied fruits, nuts and chocolates. Combining old and new family traditions we plan to continue for years to come!
