Ever since the early stages of designing our fall Gal Meets Glam Collection dresses, I’ve been dreaming of wearing the dresses with my favorite pairs of boots. Our travels in the Northeast have meant I’ve been sticking with taller options lately, but as soon as we get back to Charleston, I know booties will quickly become my go-to shoe for the next few months. I gravitate toward booties that hit right at the ankle or just above it, are made of sleek leather or suede in a warm neutral or autumnal color, and that have block heels and minimal embellishments.
