My go-to favorite hairstyles for a romantic night out include simple, classic looks – a top knot, side pony, or a twist on the everyday braid. Here are 4 ways for you to re-create similar, romantic styles. Change it up just a bit, by wrapping a little hair around the end or changing the part from side to middle, or even adding a few embellishments to make it uniquely yours.

Chic Top Knot – By far one of my favorite styles, a top knot bun is super easy and only takes minutes to create. I first add just a bit of texturizing spray and then just pull all my hair up and twist until I’ve made a bun. Then, I secure it into place with bobby pins, including these twisted ones that really help secure the bun. To finish the look, I pull out some baby hairs from the front to frame my face. Side Ponytail With A Ribbon – This look is one of the easiest to achieve, whether hair is curled or straight. I first gently tease my hair, adding a small amount of texturizing spray, and then brush all my hair to the side, securing with a clear elastic just blow my ear. I then tie a ribbon around the ponytail into a bow, and pull out just a few small hairs around my face. You can also wrap a small section of hair around the elastic, and secure with one or two bobby pins if you prefer not to use a ribbon. If your hair is too short for a side pony, you can simply make a regular low pony tail, securing at the base of the neck and adding a ribbon, or wrapped hair, as described above.

Half-Up Braid – This vintage-inspired hairstyle is one of my favorites because each time I create it, it comes out slightly different, which I love. And it is way easier to do than it looks. Best of all, once done, it will stay that way all day!
