We travel to NYC quite often for work, so naturally, we’ve stayed in many different hotels in various parts of the city. This past February, we chose The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park to stay at during fashion week and we loved every bit of our time there. The location alone is pretty incredible, with views looking over Central Park and access to great shopping (Bergdorf’s is right around the corner), food and the subway. We’ve learned from experience that even more important than location, is being able to come back to a hotel that’s quiet and relaxing, especially when away on work. When we are in NYC we try to pack as much as we can into our time there. Having a sanctuary to relax or focus on work is essential. Trust me, when you desperately need sleep or you are staying up late trying to finish something, the last thing you want to worry about is the club on the top floor of your hotel blasting music.

The service at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park was second to none. We were continuously amazed by the impeccable service – the prompt response to room service, delivering packages or messages to our room directly (which is very hard to find in NYC, trust me), the thoughtfulness (Thomas bought me roses on Valentine’s Day and without even having to ask, they brought a vase and arranged them) and their help booking any sort of reservation.

During our stay we got access to their Club Lounge, located on the second floor. There we could have a hot cup of tea, coffee or apple cider on our way back to our room after being in the freezing NYC cold. Additionally, we could snack on the variety of pastries or small bites to eat, perfect for holding ourselves over until the next meal.

We’re already looking forward to our next NYC trip and can’t wait to return!
