About 2 hours outside Charleston, if you take the correct route, you’ll come across the charming Spanish Moss-lined streets of Savannah, Georgia. While we were there we walked down Bull Street and explored the adjacent parks filled with beautiful flowers and scenery. We loved Monterey Square Park, which was full of Hydrangeas and tall Spanish moss.
We walked around Chippewa square park and went right to the spot where Forrest Gump told strangers his life story. Make sure to have iced tea or water bottles on hand if you go in the summer because you just can’t beat the heat in the South.
