Just a few more days until we check out for the holidays to spend some quiet downtime with our loved ones. Our weekends have been a lot slower over here with our little C and we’ve been adding in some Christmas activities when we can- from a light parade, holiday parties, seeing Santa, getting our tree, decorating the house and shopping for gifts. We headed downtown last weekend to check a few things off our list and enjoy some of this amazing December weather that we’re having. It’s been warm enough to go sans coat, so I’ve been living in my current favorite pair of jeans (these– they’re so comfortable and forgiving) and chunky fun sweaters (currently loving everything by LoveShackFancy at Nordstrom).

I pulled out these gold metallic Gucci pumps that I bought last year at Nordstrom that always seem to brighten even the most basic of outfits. I love slipping them on- they’re definitely a feel good shoe! I wear them all throughout the holiday/party season or whenever I feel like I need a little extra added to something.
