We leave for Ireland today and I was finalizing my packing all last night. For this trip, I tried to be extra strategic about what I was bringing/outfit planning since the four of us rented one car and we are limited on space. I actually prefer to outfit plan ahead of time, it greatly reduces my chances of overpacking and throwing in last minute things I’m not going to use or wear. I stuck to one common theme for this trip and that was classic pieces that can be mixed and matched throughout the 9 nights we are there. Think lots of stripes, chambray, gingham and quilted coats. Based on my weather research, I think it’ll be pretty similar to the weather here in SF but with a lot more rain. So, layers are going to be my best friend. Crossing my fingers that we get there in time for some of the warmer, sunnier weather (I brought a few summer dresses just in case). I was surprised and excited to see that so many of you have upcoming trips to Ireland this summer as well! So I thought it would be helpful if I shared some of the key pieces I’m bringing and I’ll follow up after the trip to share what exactly I ended up wearing or wish I would have brought.
