Valentine’s Day is just a couple weeks away, and this year we plan to celebrate together as a family at home with heart shaped crafts, easy-to-make chocolate treats, and some of C’s favorite stories about love and friendship. In the evening, after C goes to bed, Thomas and I plan to set a romantic tone with some soft music and a candlelit dinner for two. I know it may sound a bit cheesy, but with COVID still looming, we are limited on options. Besides, the best thing about Valentine’s Day is that it doesn’t really matter how we celebrate it–all that matters is being in wonderful company with those we love and care about most.
