Fanm Mon Dress, Aerin x Le Monde Beryl Mules (heeled version here)
Last year around this time we were in the Bahamas for work, our last true tropical escape. It was right before COVID-19 really hit and lockdowns became a part of our lives. I feel grateful that we do live near the beach, even if most of our winter beach days call for sweaters and jackets. On one of our rare warm winter days, you’ll find me slipping on something light to match the sun shining, even when the ocean is still quite cold. I always like to add a few new resortwear pieces to my wardrobe each winter, as we often get a spring-like day here and there. I bought this beautiful linen Fanm Mon dress last summer and can’t wait to pull it out more as spring trickles in over the next few months. So for those of you who live in warmer climates, or are day-dreaming of traveling to a sunnier place, here are a few pieces to get you in the mood.
Toile Mini Dress
No matter the season, toile is one of my favorite prints. I was delighted to find this toile mini dress, perfect for a warmer weather. It also comes in a long-sleeve version and maxi style.
Botanical Swimsuit
I posted about this botanical one-piece swimsuit when it went on pre-sale a a while back. It’s finally available, and has me looking forward to future pool and beach days.
Rainbow Tote Bag
I recently found these rainbow tote bags, made from recycled plastic bottles. They are great for carrying beach essentials, snacks, and more, and fold-up small enough to easily stash away.
