With 2021 just hours away, we thought we would take a brief look back at twenty of our favorite finds from 2020 for the home. These are some of our top items, including personal favorites you can find throughout our house and garden, as well as items that were most loved or shopped by you! As more people spent their days at home, decorating, organizing, and gardening became increasingly popular. Entertaining at home with family brought new ideas for sharing meals and fun moments together. Spending time outside in the yard took on a whole new meaning, as many began gardening for the first time. It was difficult to narrow down to just twenty favorites since this was a year of discovering so many wonderful new brands. The list is just a sampling of so many wonderful items for the home you can find throughout our posts from 2020.

Plastic Watering Can

We have a few of these stylish watering cans around the house. They work especially well on small potted plants.

USB Rechargeable Lighter

A convenient alternative to fussing with matches, these modern rechargeable lighters have become one of our household staples. I even added one to everyone’s stocking this year.

Memory Foam Slippers

I love slipping into these soft slippers when the floor is cold in the morning. The memory foam makes them extra comfortable and the rubber soles mean they can be worn outside as well.

Non-Stick Frying Pan Set

Our skillets get plenty of use daily. These non-stick ones are perfect for cooking on our gas range, since they heat up quickly and are easy to clean.

Acrylic Frames

I’ve been adding quite a few frames to hold our collection of family photos this year. These acrylic frames are so easy to use, and match with any decor style.

Nested Mixing Bowls

We’ve enjoyed cooking and baking through-out the year, and these nested mixing bowls have made it so much easier. They come with fitted lids to pop on so you can save ingredients for later.

Rattan Coffee Table Book

I love all things rattan and wicker, from bags to home decor. This coffee table book has been a wonderful addition to my collection, offering inspiration and history on the craftsmanship and beauty of rattan.

Silicone Storage Bags

These silicone storage bags provide a practical and sustainable alternative to plastic sandwich bags, and they’re great for carrying snacks on the go.

Eco-Friendly Bowls

These colorful small bowls are made from recycled materials and are break and chip-resistant, making them a perfect choice for Clementine’s snacks and meals.

Sponge Cloths

We began using these sponge cloths as an all-natural substitute for paper towels and cleaning cloths, and have been so happy with them. They can be used over and over, and thrown in the washing machine. We even gifted a few to family this year

Soft Baby Blanket

Clementine loves to wrap up in these soft baby blankets, which are her favorite. We use them in her crib, in the stroller, and to snuggle with on the couch.

Vitamix Blender

The Vitamix blender is hands down the best blender we’ve ever tried. We use ours regularly for smoothies, sauces, soups and more.

Scalloped Planters

These ceramic pots have an extra scalloped rim that adds such a pretty detail. We have them in a variety of sizes in our home and on our porch.

Block Print Placemats

I always include placemats when setting the table and this printed set adds a wonderful touch of color to any tablescape.

Cotton Sheet Set

I love the feel of crisp white sheets on a bed, especially after it has just been made. We use these wonderful cotton sets on all our beds throughout our home.

Scalloped Frames

Scalloped edges add a feminine touch to these fun wicker frames, which we have displayed around our home in a variety of sizes.

Garden Cart

For those of you with little room, this foldable garden cart is especially handy. Thomas has put ours to good use while spending time working in his garden this year.

Island Wrapped Glasses

These island wrapped glasses are a part of our everyday glassware. They are easy to pop into the dishwasher by just slipping off the island wrapping.

Woven Doormat

We’ve used this woven doormat since we first moved into our home. It is an attractive neutral option that is also durable and moisture-resistant.

Pima Pajama Set

Comfort has very much been a theme in our home this year, and this super soft pima cotton pajama set is one of my favorite pairs.
