Warm Dress, Rachel Antonoff Blazer (old, similar here and here), Loeffler Randall Boots
One item that continues to be a timeless staple in my fall wardrobe is an everyday blazer. Whether fitted or box cut, short or long, a blazer is reliably chic, comfortable, and fall-inspired. I especially love the way a blazer looks over faded denim and everyday sneakers. The palettes for blazers this season include a variety of plaids – houndstooth, windowpane, and more, as well as neutral, warm and earthy tones. Many of these classic styles will remain in my closet for years to come.
Plaid Blazer
A plaid blazer is a staple that comes back in style time and time again. This one from Everlane is slightly oversized, creating a flattering fit over straight-leg denim, a cashmere or cotton turtleneck, and loafers.
Herringbone Blazer
I especially love the autumnal green color of this herringbone wool blazer from J.Crew. Pair it with distressed denim and sneakers for a casual, yet tailored fall style.
Oversized Blazer
This oversized blazer from & Other Stories, featuring a longer style, can easily substitute as a coat over a mini dress and boots for a chic fall outfit.
