We’ve been getting out of the house for our daily walks two, sometimes three, times a day. I love this time of year when the air feels clean and crisp, cool enough to wear long sleeves and sweaters. C slowly leads the way, as Thomas and I trail behind her, watching her observe and interact with everything. It’s mesmerizing to watch the world through her eyes, and it makes me stop and enjoy tiny details that I take for granted. This time with her is so precious and I savor every single day. Although, something with the change of the fall season has felt extra nostalgic this year. Maybe it’s because she’s old enough to interact and understand more, bringing back sweet memories from my youth.
