When it comes to beauty products, there is no better testimonial than a friend’s glowing skin, shiny hair, or fabulous makeup. In fact, our love for learning what products our friends swear by inspired this whole series, since our team members frequently trade recommendations. As the holidays approach, we’re paying close attention to the products we’ve been gravitating toward lately for possible gifting inspiration. Browse our current favorites below, and find out who might be receiving their own bottles of our must-have items this season.

Lip Balm Gift Set

I always have one of the Sugar Lip products from Fresh on hand to get me through long travel days and winter, while adding a subtle touch of color to my lips. Their holiday gift sets are a great way to try their most popular shades, but they also make the cutest stocking stuffers (especially for someone who doesn’t necessarily treat herself to nice lip balms). – Caroline

Red Nail Polish

Chanel has always been a favorite brand of mine for lip color and nail polish. Even their brightest colors feel so sophisticated. For this holiday season, Chanel nail polish in Richness is at the top of my list. This would also be a great gift for my sister or my mother. After all, who doesn’t love a classic red nail this time of year? – Paige

Hair Oil

For years, I’ve been using Oribe’s Gold Lust Hair Oil before and after styling my hair. I swear by this product–it keeps my hair healthy, smooth, and shiny, and the scent is heavenly! Since I don’t wear perfume often, the hair oil has become my signature scent. My girlfriends love to use it when they come to visit or we go on trips together, so this year, I decided to treat them to bottles of their own. It comes in two size options, and the smaller of the two is just right for gifting (or trying the product on your own before upgrading to the larger bottle). – Annika

Body Oil

Between my pregnancy and the increasingly chilly weather, my skin has been drier than usual lately. I’ve been relying on this body oil from the Burt’s Bees Mama Bee line to keep my skin feeling as refreshed and hydrated as possible. Since it’s so inexpensive, I don’t worry about using a lot at a time! I’m grateful to be pregnant at the same time as a few sweet friends, so I’ll be gifting them each their own bottle this Christmas. – Lisa

Beauty Elixir

I always keep the travel-sized Caudalie Beauty Elixir in my bag. It’s a great wake-up call after I complete my daily makeup routine and works equally as well as a mid-day pick-me-up. I love the fresh scent and the way it adds a touch of dewy glow. Don’t tell my mom, sister, and roommates, but this must-have product is coming their way this Christmas. – Margaret

Pink Nail Polish

I’ve been loving this Deborah Lippman nail polish in Baby Love. I apply one coat of it to my nails for a clean, elegant look that doesn’t chip or take hours to dry. At $20 for such a versatile shade, it makes the perfect stocking stuffer! – Alexandra
