So many brands have kicked off their Black Friday (or week!) sales a little early this year! I definitely plan to get some shopping out of the way before Thanksgiving, and in case you are too, I wanted to share our new Gal Meets Glam Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sales page. This is where we’ll be keeping track of all of the best sales and our favorite finds, so check back often as we update it throughout the week! Two items I’m especially focusing on are new seasonal handbags and boots, since some of my favorite brands that usually don’t have sales have great specials this week!
I’ve always believed that a beautiful, versatile, well-made bag is worth the investment. The materials and craftsmanship ensure they can last for years, even decades, if well-cared for. Whether you’re treating yourself to a new style or color, or selecting a bag as a special gift, this is the time to find them. One of my favorites not to be missed is from Senreve. I have collected my share of bags from Senreve over the years, as they continue to be one of my most-used bags for work, travel, and more. I have the Maestra in both the mini and midi in more than one color, and am loving the new Aria Belt Bag. It can be worn either as a belt bag around the waist or as a crossbody bag, so it’s perfect for moms with small children or anyone wanting to be hands-free. Most of my favorite bags this season include neutrals and classic styles that I can wear with just about anything.
By now, I’ve had a chance to figure out what my cold-weather wardrobe is lacking and what needs to be replaced or updated. Boots sometimes fall into this category for me since I wear them so frequently and through all kinds of weather. It’s finally cool enough in Charleston for me to pull out my GMG x Margaux boots that I’ve been itching to wear! A few more of my must-have styles include knee-high in chestnut suede (like these and these), knee-high in black suede (like these and these), knee-high in brown leather (like these and these), and flat over-the-knee boots (like these). It’s the ideal time of year to pick up a new pair, since boot-wearing season has only just begun! For inspiration on how to wear different boot styles and shaft and heel heights, visit this recent past post, or keep an eye on our Daily Looks page to see how my team and I are wearing boots throughout the season.
