The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to Nordstrom cardholders today! Since many of you share my love for shopping at Nordstrom, and have been so supportive of Gal Meets Glam Collection there, I knew I wanted to offer something extra special for this much-anticipated sale. We are proud to have six exclusive Gal Meets Glam Collection styles included in the sale that are a great mix of old favorites and brand new pieces! You’ll find the incredibly popular Beth dress from last year in a new burgundy base colorway, one of my all-time favorites, the Liza, in a new colorway as well for fall, a versatile new wrap dress in two gorgeous colors (navy and candy apple), and two new jumpsuits (Devin and Luella) that couldn’t be easier to dress up or down. These styles are limited edition pieces only available at Nordstrom during the Anniversary Sale, so don’t miss this brief chance to add them to your closet!
You met a few of our GMG team members in this post yesterday, and I’m thrilled that they are back today to showcase these exclusive styles. We really do live in Gal Meets Glam Collection in our office–on any given day, you’ll find multiple women wearing their favorite pieces. I always love seeing which ones become staples of these women’s closets, and look forward to seeing how everyone continues to style them throughout the upcoming fall season.
Annika: I’m always drawn to feminine pieces and the Beth dress has so many details that fit my style perfectly, from the beautiful floral print to the bow detail at the back. The fabric is soft and flowy while also having a good weight to it. I can see this piece transitioning perfectly into fall!
Margaret: The Devin jumpsuit feels so flattering. It accentuates my waist and is so comfortable to wear. I’ll definitely repeat this look and mix and match accessories to wear this jumpsuit both to work and to more formal events.
Caroline: The Kinsley is one of the most comfortable and versatile wrap dresses I have ever worn. The Candy Apple shade is the perfect color to transition my style from summer to fall. Most importantly, what really sealed the deal…POCKETS!
Paige: If I’m not wearing black, I’m likely embracing my boho. I chose the Liza dress for the print and the silhouette. It’s loose and has plenty of movement, but is so flattering. The fabric makes it easy to dress up for an evening out or dress down for a laid back lunch.
Judie: The light and airy Luella jumpsuit is so easy to wear, thanks to its comfortable fabric, cropped wide legs, and just a touch of feminine details in the shoulder ties and wrapped front. l wore it with simple raffia slides, but would also pair it with heels to dress it up.
Colleen: The Kinsley dress checks all the boxes for me. Its elegant shape makes it great for a dressy night out, but it is comfortable enough to wear all day. The deep navy is perfect for every season, making this a new staple in my closet.
