This Is What I Usually Wear When Traveling

Outfit Details:

Boden Blazer (also love this one), Boden Shirt, Boden Jeans, Boden Loafers c/o, Jenni Kayne Tote

It’s seems a little premature to be thinking about fall, but with August just days away, it’s really not too far off. Even though our peak hot days in Charleston will still be going strong, our traveling usually picks up again this time of year, which allows for a broader spectrum of attire. And when it comes to travel days, this combo is exactly what I gravitate towards- a great pair of jeans, a simple top or tee, a jacket in case I get cold (which is pretty much on every flight) and a comfortable pair of flats or loafers.

In case you’re not familiar with Boden (I only just discovered them last year) they’re a British brand that has a mix of classic staples and playful pieces that are both feminine and timeless. You might remember seeing them here on the blog before in this post or this one. I continually love to shop from them because the quality and fits are so good and I always find pieces that fit my style perfectly.

I couldn’t remember the last time I slipped on a pair of jeans, other than a travel day, but when I got this Boden pair, I couldn’t wait to put them on. The cropped flare style and higher waist is so flattering and I can’t wait to wear them more over these next couple of months. In fact, I currently have them with me in Tahoe right now for one of my best friend’s bachelorette party. We got lucky with some amazing weather (sans humidity- oh how I missed it!) that’s cool in the mornings and evenings.

A classic navy blazer and a striped shirt are two pieces that I think every woman should have in their closet- so timeless and effortlessly chic when paired together. Plus, a blazer instantly pulls together a simple pair of jeans and a tee. I’m also obsessed with this super soft red striped shirt from Boden and I love the contrasting trim around the neck.

Thank you to Boden & Shopstyle for sponsoring this post.
