Old Navy Romper & Sweater c/o, Converse Sneakers, Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid in “Orange Shot”
A few weekends ago, T and I went hiking in Mount Tam. It was the greenest we’ve ever seen it with poppies sprouted everywhere creating the dreamiest scene with fog rolling in the background. We decided to head back over last week on a sunny afternoon with a picnic in tow. We went back to the same location as before, a little spot off Bolinas Ridge Trail which you can get to from Ridgecrest Blvd (such a scenic drive!). You’ll have a spectacular view of the water set against the rolling hills.
Instead of workout clothes and hiking boots, this time I wore a spring-like checked Old Navy romper and my converse. Luckily, this spot is just a short walk down from the road, so you can easily access it without any strenuous activity or having to worry about getting dirty (like I did last time i.e. slid down a hill on my butt and was covered in dirt – it happened). This trek was more up my alley, completely manageable even with a picnic in hand and lots of blankets.
This romper also comes in blue and white striped gingham along with this red option I’m wearing. I love a good romper – they make the perfect one-piece outfit like a dress or jumpsuit. This other checked one is great along with this chambray one or even this chambray jumpsuit. I added this little cropped cardigan in a matching shade of orange-red along with lipstick in a similar color.
