Ann Taylor Jacket (40% off the sale price, last worn here and here), R13 Tee (last seen here), Frame Jeans, Alexander McQueen Sneakers c/o SSense, Illesteva Sunglasses, Gucci Bag
Ever since Thomas bought me these sneakers for Christmas, I’ve been embracing the sporty look more and more each time I’ve worn them. The only other pair of sneakers I have (besides my workout ones) that get that much everyday wear are my white Converse, which I need to retire soon. That’s why I was excited when I found this pair of white leather sneakers from SSense that have the simplicity I love. Instead of my usual ballet flats, I’ve been reaching for either pair of my kicks to wear with everything from jeans to dresses.
I last wore this cropped white trench jacket from Ann Taylor during fashion week (here and here). It’s such a gorgeous piece and I’ve had non-stop compliments on it. Someone during fashion week even asked if it was Chloe. It looks just as great styled with a regular pair of denim jeans as it does with white trousers. And living in a city that’s pretty much sweater weather year round, I know I’ll get good wear out of it.
It feels good to be back home after 10 days of back to back travel. Regardless of the cold, we had a great time in NYC, especially catching up with friends, and the Dominican Republic exceeded our expectations. The people, the food, the beaches – it was a wonderful experience and we’re already planning on heading back in the near future. We arrived to a continued springtime in SF, so light layers (if any) are all you need.
If you’re on the hunt for a cool new pair of sneakers to add to your wardrobe for Spring, I’ve found a few that don’t feel too “sporty” but will elevate any laid-back outfit just right-  this navy suede pair, these Charlotte Olympia sneakers that have the sweetest detail, this all white pair and these black leather kicks.
