Who we are
Julia Berolzheimer is an editorial media and commerce brand led by a husband‑and‑wife team. Since 2011, we’ve shared an elevated, feminine style with a loyal audience that confidently buys premium pieces placing us among the top‑earning affiliates in our category with consistently high AOV. We publish daily across our blog, Instagram, Substack, and shopping email newsletter, and we collaborate with leading fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands.
The role
We’re hiring a creator–producer who can pitch the vision and own the edit. You’ll bring forward smart, on-brand ideas; we (Julia and Thomas) will appear on camera and self-film; you’ll then edit and package the content for Reels, Stories, carousels, and our site. You know how to develop concepts that fit our aesthetic, how to craft titles/covers/hooks that stop the scroll, and how to cut for watch time and conversion.
What you’ll do
- Pitch weekly concepts and lightweight series (clear hook, visual beats, and desired outcome).
- Provide self-filming guides: shot list, framing notes, A-roll/B-roll ideas, wardrobe/prop cues, and a quick reference for pacing and energy.
- Edit and package for platforms: tight pacing, tasteful color/sound, strong titles/covers/hooks, captions, tags, and export specs.
- Repurpose winners for blog, email, and Pinterest; pull cover frames and stills as needed.
- Review performance weekly (retention curve, saves, click-through to Shop) and recommend what we keep, cut, and try next.
- Maintain a simple content calendar and tidy asset library; keep feedback cycles efficient.
What you bring
- A portfolio of short-form work you created or led—please share links.
- Taste and judgment: framing, color, pacing, music, styling that feel refined and modern.
- Proven packaging instincts (hooks/titles/covers) and clean editing in Premiere Pro/CapCut/Final Cut (or similar).
- Clarity in direction: you can express a concept and filming plan so it’s easy to execute.
- Organization and follow-through: you keep timelines, name files, and deliver reliably.
Nice to have (not required): fashion/lifestyle experience; Lightroom; Asana; Pinterest or email content.
What success looks like (first 90 days)
- You deliver 2-3 Reels and 2-3 carousel stories per week with consistent packaging quality.
- You establish a weekly “what we learned / what we’ll try” loop and lift view-through, saves, and Shop CTR versus baseline.
- You set two repeatable series and lightweight templates for titles, covers, captions, and self-filming guides.
Where you’ll work
- Remote (U.S.); Charleston, SC preferred (or easy travel) for occasional on-site blocks.
How to apply
Please submit:
- 3 links you made to short-form pieces you’re proud of
