The Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel sits on a hilltop overlooking the ocean in Lima, Peru and is situated by beautiful parks perfect for taking a morning walk or jog. The hotel even offers guests an assortment of complimentary bikes to use during their stay.

As soon as we exited our taxi, we were greeted by the Miraflores staff’s warm welcome, and escorted to the hotel’s elaborate sitting area, showcasing beautiful mahogany bookshelves. We were so tired after our long day of traveling, and it was so nice to be able to finally relax in comfort!

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our rooms, which were massive, with 180-degree views of the ocean, beach, and parks below. At night, the twinkling lights of Lima were just breathtaking! On our first night, just as we were ready to turn-in, a knock at the door delivered the most delicious little cookies and chocolates. These wonderful treats showed-up on our side table the next night as well!

We spent our two mornings in Lima enjoying breakfast at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, which offered a wide variety of foods, including bacon, potatoes, fruits, rolls and breads, cereals, and specialty teas.

The Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel also has a gorgeous heated pool located on the rooftop, along with a spa and workout room.

The hotel is located in the trendy neighborhood of Miraflores, offering small shops, parks and a variety of restaurants. It also offers taxis to the central sites of Lima, where the Spanish-influenced colonial architecture can be seen. Whether visiting Lima, or just stopping through on the way to another destination, the Belmond Miraflores hotel is the place to be!
