When it comes to fashion, even the most daring dresser has a comfort zone—that look or uniform that instantly makes them feel the most like themself. For as long as I can remember, my comfort zone has been defined by feminine pink midi dresses. I love experimenting with all different looks and translating trends to fit my personal style, but when I find a dress like this Doen one, I feel as though it were made especially for me.

I slipped into this style with simple sandals for a beautiful afternoon during our recent California trip. We spent some time at a lovely property surrounded by citrus groves, and it was the most idyllic place to soak in the sunshine and quality time with people I love. Thomas and I have looked forward to traveling with Clementine since the moment we found out we were expecting her, so sharing moments like these is so surreal. She makes every adventure even sweeter and more memorable!
