Gal Meets Glam Collection Sweater (coming in April), Innika Choo Top, Paige Jeans, Tabitha Simmons Flats, Pamela Munson Bag

You might have seen me mention it briefly on IG or over on the GMG IG, but we have something new coming with the arrival of our April Collection next Monday, the 8th…our Gal Meets Glam Collection sweaters! We have a handful of cardigans we designed as the perfect lightweight piece to wear over all of our favorite spring styles. I’ve always been on the hunt for classic, feminine sweaters that easily style with what I have in my wardrobe, but that have enough special details to not feel boring. So we decided to design some last year and we’re thrilled that they’re finally here, just in time for spring! This is the transitional season, where a layer or light layer is still pretty much always needed, but I’ve always found that I find myself carrying one throughout the year. Whether I’m heading into the office in the middle of summer where the air conditioning is blasting, or I’m traveling and get cold on a flight, or we’re changing climates. These pieces aren’t meant to be season specific, but last and wear all year long!

This is our Cara cardigan in pastel pink. She also comes in a sunshine yellow color. This knit has a soft ribbed texture and ruffles along the sleeves and hemline. I love wearing it open over a dress, or with jeans, like I have on here. I’m wearing an xs here, but will size up to a small to allow room for my ever growing chest and bump. The springtime has me pulling out all of my favorite pastels, which includes a recent addition- this Pamela Munson plaid tote. You can probably tell from my daily looks that I’ve been carrying it everywhere. I’m particularly excited about it because I plan on getting a tote organizer and using it as a baby bag or carryall tote once the little lady comes. The canvas is coated, so it’s easy to wash and big enough to fit all the things!
