I’m slowly beginning to pack away some winter clothes and bring out my spring favorites. We’ve already had a few 70-degree days in Charleston, teasing to the gorgeous weather ahead! Along with colorful dresses and skirts, lightweight blouses, and my favorite flats, I’m setting up my favorite rainy weather gear front and center in my closet. I’m anxious for sunshine, but try my best to keep a positive outlook on early spring rain, since it means green grass and blooming flowers are right around the corner. I’ve been known to throw on my boots as soon as the rain stops to go investigate, since every time it rains lately, it seems as though something new blossoms in our backyard or neighborhood! After spending the winter mostly cozied up inside, I’m not willing to let rain keep me indoors. Thankfully, I’ve collected rain gear that is as attractive as it is practical over the years, which ensures I’m never disappointed to pull these pieces out my closet.

Coats, boots, and umbrellas need to be reliable and high-performing to ensure I can head out and about comfortably on rainy days. To find classic pieces that hold up beautifully season after season, I rely on a handful of my favorite tried and true brands, like Hunter for boots, Barbour for water resistant jackets, and Burberry for trench coats. Along with timeless staples like these, I also love finding colorful, patterned pieces that instantly brighten up rainy days, never failing to boost my mood in the process. Whether you gravitate toward sleek, sophisticated looks or love adding a pop of color to gray days, I rounded up a few rainy day styles for everyone below.
