Outfit Details:
Hobbs London Trench, Old Navy Shirt, Joe’s Jeans, Chanel Flats, Chanel Bag
Ever since Rose and her chap came to visit Thomas and me in San Francisco for Thanksgiving, we’ve been talking about planning a trip in spring. After months and months of research and planning, it’s finally here! We arrived to their house in London on Saturday, and spent a few days refreshing and getting ready before we left for Italy early yesterday morning (we’re currently in Venice!). London is one of my favorite cities in the entire world. I love everything about it – the people, the food, the gardens (!!!) and pretty much every neighborhood I’ve been to. Last year we visited London during the summer (you can see a few posts here, here, here, here and here), and in the fall (here and here), so this is our first time in the city during spring. We’ll be back in the city and going out to the countryside in a few weeks, so let us know if you have any recommendations!
We strolled around Notting Hill on Sunday before heading over to breakfast at Bodyism, followed by a boxing class for the four of us (maybe not the best decision because now all of our arms are too sore to carry our luggage!). I always have sensory overload when we’re in Notting Hill, it’s one of the most charming places I’ve ever been. It looks even more beautiful right now with all of the fresh blooms glowing against the pastel homes.
When I saw this blue and white floral trench online, I didn’t even blink before I bought it. It. Is. Perfect. Blue and white floral anything is always a yes in my book. It’s even lovelier in person. People kept coming up to me on the street and asking where it was from. It also comes in a variety of colors, with my personal favorite being the citrus. I pulled all my navy and shades of blue together for this look – a chambray shirt from Old Navy, dark skinny Joe’s Jeans and navy Chanel flats and bag.
After our boxing class, we went home, showered and then Rose and I headed out to get blowouts at Show (see first landscape picture vs all the other pictures from earlier in the day). We then met back up with the guys and spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Kensington in the sunshine before heading back home to pack, order in sushi and play monopoly.
