Editing through the pictures from our trip takes me right back to the moments when we shot them. That’s the greatest thing about pictures- how they can instantly take you back to a place and time and almost make it feel like it was all a dream. Fussen really did feel like a little dream- with its storybook charm, dreamy sunsets and the friendliest residents. We booked our two night stay in Fussen with the main mission of seeing the Neuschwanstein Castle, which we hiked up to on our second day, but spent the rest of our time in the town. We arrived by train from Zurich mid afternoon, checked into our hotel and then headed out for some food. Our options were pretty slim, but we found a small market with the sweetest owner and the best homemade food. We ended up going back there the second night as well, to not only eat the delicious meal again that we had the night before, but to catch up with our new friend who greeted us with shots of Ouzo this time around!
Yesterday’s post got me really thinking about stripping my wardrobe down to the basics. If I had to eliminate everything and only keep 10 pieces what would they be? I had previously mentioned skinny jeans, a white button down and the classic trench and now I would definitely add a nice black coat. Living in a city where it’s pretty much coat season (or at least sweater season) year round makes you want to really invest in good pieces that will last. With so many great sales going on right now, it’s the perfect time to pick one up or keep your eye open for a great deal. Nordstrom currenlty has up to 40% off a great selection of beautiful black coats including this one, this one and this one or you can shop more of my favorite picks below (all on sale!)…
