Rose Carmine Cardigan (sold out, similar here), Rag & Bone Tee, Citizens of Humanity Jeans, Olivia Morris Home Slippers
The sun is finally shining brightly outside, but there’s still a definite chill in the air, especially in the mornings. I’ve been switching between wearing soft pastel sweaters that feel like early spring, and bright, bold colors to cheer-up a cold and dreary day. This rainbow striped cardigan (similar here) combines a bit of both – colorful, yet soft. The cropped, slightly oversized style fits well with my t-shirt and jeans, but I’ve also worn it with a thin sweater and cropped pants, as well as over my corduroy dress. For now and into spring, I’ve selected a bouquet of sweaters and cardigans with more pretty details, including appliqués and embroidery, neutral stripes and scallops, lace and crochet, and oversized collars. Perfect for layering, or wearing alone to ward off the winter drearies and inspire an early change in the seasons.
Striped Cardigan
A scalloped edge and neutral stripe give this cardigan a relaxed style to wear over a simple tee with jeans.
Embroidered Sweater
I love embroidered details like the flowers on this cardigan, adding a delicate touch. It also comes in a matching knit top to wear as a set or on its own.
Collared Sweater
Add a bit of sunshine on an early spring day with this yellow collared sweater. The cropped style would look perfect with high-waisted denim.
