Our citrus season is always a bright spot in the middle of winter. We have a small grove of kumquat, lemon, lime, and tangerine trees that we look forward to harvesting this time of year to add a pop of color in the kitchen, as well as an extra zing to our water and cooking. The winter weather in Charleston tends to be mild, with cold fronts never lasting for too long, which makes it a perfect climate for these delicious fruits.
