Packing For A Beach Getaway

We live near the beach, but still love to travel to new oceanfront destinations when the opportunity arises. In the past, we’ve enjoyed the pink sands of The Bahamas, the beautiful islands of Hawaii, and the warm waters of Mexico. We are looking forward to taking a warm weather trip during spring break this year as a family of four. Packing for the beach always entails light-weight clothing, leaving more room to slip-in a few extras. I usually base my daily looks on where we are staying and what activities we’ll be doing. Below is a sampling of the latest resort wear and beach ready must-haves I’m eyeing right now.

The fringe and leather detailing add structure and sophistication to this raffia tote bag. Add some woven flat slides, shades, and a colorful maxi dress to look effortlessly chic when headed to lunch or shopping.

Floral Embroidered Swimsuit

I always pack a one-piece on my beach getaways, and I love the floral embroidery and low back on this suit by Agua Bendita, one of my go-to swimwear brands.

Shirred Silk Maxi Dress

This breezy cotton-silk blend shirred maxi dress is perfect for dinner after a day in the sun, paired with fun accessories like a raffia bag and these bamboo platform sandals.
