We recently spent the week in Nantucket taking in all that the relaxed island lifestyle has to offer. Beach time was by far C’s favorite, playing with friends and swimming in the ocean with mom and dad until late in the day. I am always inspired by the beautiful colors of the sea and the nautical blues, stripes, and whites that Nantucket is known for. Most of the wardrobe I brought for the week included these shades in lightweight cottons, linens and knits, along with some warmer pieces to layer in, a straw hat for the beach, and rain boots to slip on in case it sprinkled. See below for more of my Nantucket styles, including a few new ones for fall.
V Neck Cotton Pullover
This sweater is a super soft lightweight blend of cashmere and wool and the neutral beige will go with just about anything.
Straight Leg Olive Pants
I’ve been into wearing cotton trousers like these in lieu of denim and love how the color caries well into fall.
Classic Striped Top
This striped long-sleeved tee can be worn alone, or layered under a sweater, jacket or cardigan, or even over a button down.
