My love for smocking goes way back, but I think it really hit its peak while I was pregnant. Oh, how I was so grateful for those extra stretchy waists and forgiving bodices. Now almost everything seems to have a touch of smocking- whether around the waist, cuff or neckline. And I am still grateful for this extra bit of give, because it makes the wear that much more comfortable. Anything that doesn’t have a bit of give is really not that practical for life with a toddler, too! If you’re all about living that comfy life, then take a peek at some of my favorite smocked spring styles below…
Puff-Sleeve Dress
I plan to wear this puff-sleeve dress with a romantic smocked bodice from day to night this spring.
Tiered Dress
If you’re looking for a pretty spring dress to lift your mood, this colorful tiered maxi is just the one to try with heels or sneakers.
