Few pieces remain in my closet as long as my most-loved coats. I try to rotate between wearing my warmer ones right now, as we experience a window of cold weather that calls for them. In the south, this doesn’t last too long, so I always look forward to pulling out my warmest puffer, fleece, duffel, quilted, or wool/cashmere style to go with the daily activities that winter can bring. One theme remains the same – that each coat is stylish, versatile, functional and practical. While I have my share of everyday jackets, I’ve found that it can be worth the investment to get a coat that you will want to keep for years, wearing it again and again each season.

Lightweight Puffer Coat

This lightweight puffer coat has a flattering fit and adds the perfect extra warm layer.

Duffel Coat

A wool duffel coat is a timeless piece to pair with any winter outfit. This style is very similar to my classic Burberry coat that is no longer available, but a favorite I still wear each winter.

Double Breasted Coat

A colorful wool coat adds a warm pop of color on the coldest winter days and looks beautiful over an all-cream outfit, like this turtleneck with these pants.
