PJ Salvage Top & Pants
2020 could very well be dubbed the year of board games. I love that we’ve fallen back to traditional ways to spend quality time together. It is obvious that the world is experiencing a resurgence as well, as seen in the recent upswing with chess. Our family has a long history of games after dinner. During the holidays, it has always been one of our ways to bond together, with some of the funniest moments shared. Our top family games include What Do You Meme, Who’s Most Likely To, Monopoly, Tabletopics, and a simple deck of playing cards. We also enjoy setting out a community puzzle for the family to work on at leisure. We recently finished this one when my sister was in town for Thanksgiving. Even Clementine gets in on the puzzle fun, although we’ve had to hunt for a few final missing pieces that she had tucked away to play with! See below for an assortment of board games and puzzles to enjoy this holiday with your family, friends, or even by yourself.
Playing Cards
There is no shortage of fun to be had with a deck of cards, from classic games like gin, rummy, or go fish, to family favorites. These pretty floral decks make it even more fun and would make a lovely stocking stuffer.
Puzzle
Gather the whole family around for hours (or even days!) of fun working on a puzzle, like this butterfly puzzle by designer John Derian.
Tabletopics
We have come to love the fun conversations inspired by the game Tabletopics, perfect for after a meal while everyone is still sitting around the table.
