We recently drove to Little St. Simon island to spend some family time together around the holidays. We enjoyed outdoor activities, exploring the natural forests and waterways, and the gorgeous stretch of beach along the Atlantic Ocean. I brought mostly casual, outdoor wear to stay warm, dry, and comfortable in, including this hat, these classic sneakers, and this puffer jacket, all available at Amazon. White Sneakers

These Converse sneakers have been worn on rotation this past week with a few of my other favorite sneakers I brought on our trip. The white canvas goes with practically anything,  and easily washes, which is needed when we are spending most of our time outdoors!

Baseball Cap

This classic cotton twill baseball cap has been perfect for both keeping my hair out of my eyes and shielding my face from the sun on our many walks, fishing excursions, and beach strolls.

Straight-Leg Jeans

I’ve been living in jeans during our time on the island, and this pair has been particularly comfortable, with a slight stretch and full length to keep my legs warm and protected from the elements (ie/mosquitoes!).

V-Neck Sweater

This sweater is honestly one of the softest I have ever owned. The baby blue shade is flattering, along with the slightly puffed sleeves and v-neckline.

Puffer Jacket

I own a few puffer jackets and brought most of them on our trip, including this newest style. They have come in handy worn alone and as an extra layer when the temperatures dropped.

Long-Sleeve Tee

This white cotton long sleeved tee has a slightly loose fit, which hangs nicely over fitted denim or joggers.

Fleece Sweatshirt

An everyday hooded fleece sweatshirt adds an extra warm layer under a jacket or layered over a tee. This one came in handy on our hikes, layered in the foggy mornings and worn alone in the sunnier afternoons.

Lightweight Puffer Jacket

Over this past week I layered this light-weight puffer jacket like a liner under a large, thicker coat, and also wore it as my main jacket over a thick sweater. Two of the best features are that it is packable and water-resistant.
