One of the challenges of getting dressed as the weather turns cold is figuring out how to stay comfortable and warm when spending time both inside and out. A fitted turtleneck offers a perfect starting point – light enough to layer, and fine on its own on a mild fall day. I love the look of a turtleneck collar peeking out from underneath a blazer, coat, or sweater. My favorite choice this time of year, however, is to slip on a festive turtleneck sweater like this red cable-knit one (under $40!). A mock turtleneck is another option I love, blending the timelessness of a traditional turtleneck with the simplicity of a crew-neck tee. No matter the style, a turtleneck is a perfect choice to wear now and later under a favorite coat and scarf as we head into the winter season!
