J.Crew Loafers

Slip-ons are by far the most used shoes you’ll find in my closet (aside from sneakers). As I move from slip-on sandals to flats and loafers, I continue to put an emphasis on comfort. Most of my favorites are ones that easily break-in, many of which feel like old friends when pulled out for a new season. I used to be so in love with my slip-ons that I would forget to replace favorites and find myself wearing a beautiful new dress with a beloved, albeit worn-out pair of flats. Eventually, I would break down and replace them, but it was usually with something very similar, if not the same. Though I’ve come a long way with making sure to update my well-loved flats and loafers each season with new colors, textures and patterns, along with an embellishment or two, I haven’t strayed too far from the classic styles I love, many of which you can find below.

Beige Loafers

A comfortable loafer is a staple in my fall wardrobe. I love this beige pair to wear with everything from dresses to sweaters.

Mary Jane Flats

The Mary Jane style has been popping up everywhere this season, like here, here, and here. I would wear this pair from Mansur Gavriel with jeans and a white oversized collar blouse for a vintage-inspired look.

Brocade Loafers

I have been eyeing these floral brocade loafers since Manolo Blahnik teased them on Instagram months ago. The floral brocade and grosgrain piping add femininity to this forever style.
