Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Thank you to Nordstrom and Shopstyle for Sponsoring this post.

Before the first crisp morning or the earliest changing leaves, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale always offers a first hint of fall. Scrolling through new autumn wardrobe essentials instantly transports me to the cozy season to come, even when it’s still warm outside. If you’re not familiar with this sale, it is unique in that it includes all-new merchandise, not pieces that have been in the store previously. Year after year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale provides the perfect opportunity to both refresh your fall basics and stock up on new styles.

This year, I’m shopping for classic pieces that can be worn in comfortable, at-home looks, as well as easily dressed up in the future. Solid-colored cashmere and wool sweaters always make it into my cart, like this, this, and this. I’m also eyeing light-wash denim in a variety of silhouettes (love this straight-leg pair and this boot cut pair), athletic sneakers in a new colorway, and a classic slip skirt in one of my favorite fall hues.

Keep in mind as you shop that pieces included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tend to go quickly. Items aren’t restocked, but if something you love is sold out in your size, check back frequently in case of returns. Don’t forget to sign up for The Nordy Club before placing your order—a membership enables you to earn points for every dollar spent, utilize Curbside Pick-up, and much more. See below for some of my favorite items on sale now.

V-Neck Sweater

This v-neck sweater from Vince comes in a pretty blue color that will transition seamlessly from summer to fall. Keep it classic by pairing it with jeans.

Ripped Jeans

I love just the slightest touch of distressing on denim, like on this cropped pair from Rag & Bone. The wash is light enough to wear in the summer with a tee or into the fall with a sweater.

Classic Trench

-A classic trench is the perfect transitional jacket to keep you warm on those early fall days. Pair this one with jeans and a sweater for an outfit you’ll be reaching for all season long.

Bishop Sleeve Sweater

-I love a voluminous sleeve to add volume to any sweater, like this one from Co, perfect for pairing with jeans or a skirt.

Boot Cut Jeans

-The slight crop of these boot cut jeans from Hudson gives them an athletic look for everyday wear. Pair them with sneakers for a day on the go.

Notch Collar Coat

-I love to throw on a statement coat to brighten up a fall or winter day. This blue coat from Sam Edelman would look great with jeans and a camel sweater.
